Kings XI Punjab will be pleased with their start to the season sofar, winning two games and losing just one out of their three. They lost their first matchpoorly to Pune Warriors by 7 wickets but have now won two in a row beating Chennai Super Kings by 6 wickets and then Deccan Chargers 8 wickets. Kings XI Punjab are currently 8th in the table but have a game in hand on every team at least and 2 games in hand on some teams. They will jump into the play off positions if they win today and go on level points with the top 3. Rajasthan Royals have played five games so far this season in the IPL and they have won 2, lost 2 and had a no result in their last match. Rajasthan won their first two matches but sincethen have gone 3 without a victory losing to Kolkata Knight Riders by 9 wickets and then by 8 wickets in the return fixture against KKR. Their game againstRoyal Challengers then never got under way ending in a no result. Rajasthan currently lie in 4th in the table on 5 points, they will go top with a victory but will have been the only team to play6 matches in the season so far. Both teams will look to win to get some momentum going into the rest of the IPL 2011 season.
